Official Call for Innovation
Open to All 56 Commonwealth Member States
The Commonwealth NextGen Innovation Challenge 2026 (CNGIC 2026) is a pan-Commonwealth initiative inviting innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and startups across all 56 Member States to submit high-impact solutions addressing today’s most pressing global and regional challenges.
This Challenge provides a structured platform to transform innovative ideas into commercially viable, scalable enterprises — supported by visibility, partnerships, and investor engagement.
Why This Initiative Matters
Across the Commonwealth, innovation ecosystems are growing but often remain fragmented. Many promising ideas struggle to:
– Access cross-border markets
– Secure early-stage capital
– Connect with institutional and private sector partners
– Transition from research to commercialisation
The Commonwealth NextGen Innovation Challenge 2026 addresses this gap by creating a unified platform that convenes innovators, governments, private sector actors, and investors under one Commonwealth framework.
